Ekagas International Pre School promotes healthy eating habits and recognizes the important role nutrition plays in early childhood development. This policy outlines our approach to food safety, allergy management, and nutritional responsibility.
The School encourages balanced, age-appropriate meals that support physical growth, concentration, and healthy habits. Food practices are designed to promote wellbeing while respecting cultural and dietary diversity.
Parents or guardians must disclose all known allergies, intolerances, or dietary restrictions at the time of enrollment and must promptly update the School regarding any changes.
Accurate disclosure is essential to maintaining child safety.
The School follows reasonable hygiene and food handling practices. However, due to shared spaces and varied food sources, the School cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.
For children with severe allergies, parents must provide:
Doctor-approved emergency action plan
Required medication (where prescribed)
Written authorization for emergency administration
School staff will act in good faith and contact emergency medical services when necessary.
Parents sending food from home should ensure items are clearly labeled and safe for consumption. The School reserves the right to restrict items that may pose safety risks to other children.
While the School exercises reasonable care in food management, parents acknowledge that risks associated with allergies and food sensitivities cannot be entirely eliminated in shared environments.
